Delicious, great service and ambiance. The servers were very friendly and attentive, and all the food was absolutely delicious!

Food and atmosphere was great. The restaurant has spacious seating, so I didn't feel like I was sitting right next to another table. I ordered the pollo punto pizza and was pleasantly surprised by how good the sauce and crust were. I also had the tiramisù for dessert and it was probably the best tiramisù I've ever had at an Italian restaurant. Dishes were creative, but still tasted authentic.

Excellent service, but three meals of eight were mediocre and tasteless. The salmon dish was inedible.

Came here for my mom’s birthday! The food was phenomenal. Our server was genuinely the sweetest. I wish I knew her name. The guy who started our table was also so good and knowledgeable. My mom was so happy with the experience. Will be back for sure!!

Simple. But that's what makes it great! "Johnny" brings his decades of restaurant experiences to bring quality food, service and general 'attitude' along with excellent pricing. Definitely worth a visit!

Not bad. Great atmosphere. Service was a little slow took almost an hour and a half for our group to get served after ordering. Food was good, little over salted but had great flavor. Decent portions, did not leave hungry.

Their risoto is marvelous

I was with a group of friends, the food & the pretty female server was very good, all our foods were very delicious, the portions were perfect & my order of white wine was chilled perfectly. She worked very hard to make sure we got what we ordered.

Amazing! The food is spectacular and the service is fantastic!! This is our new favourite dinner spot. Must try the French 76...so refreshing!!

Very nice, welcoming and relaxing ambience. One of the best places to have italian food! We celebrated a friends birthday here and we all felt The portions were Amazing, tasteful, very reasonable priced along with great personable service. We were able to enjoy a nice long dinner without feeling rushed. I can’t wait to return to try other dishes.

Went there for a birthday occasion, with full order of two main entrees & double shots which are quite expensive on a table of two and not even a large table, surprised that we got billed for the birthday dessert!!!I ordered pizza which only comes in one size, and the toppings were only spread around the center. Outside of the Center was only bread & tomato sauce! Very similar to what you get at Pizza Pizza! Slow service, but the most shocking part was not to get even a complementary dessert for the birthday person!

The restaurant is outright beautiful, the atmosphere id's definitely family oriented. The owner John is a gem, he truly is passionate about his restaurant and, the quality of his food and, the service to his patrons.The food is top notch, everything from the bread to the dessert, top notch being an understatement. You would just have to try it yourself. The wine selection is great. The bar is great. Everything is amazing. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

The ambiance, service and food are absolutely amazing at Ovest. We celebrated my mom's birthday on March 2, 2019, and could not stop talking about the deliciousness of the food. Every last thing we ate was amazing. Ovest also had children's pasta (not on the menu), which made it easier for us with young children in tow. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or a special occasion, or just a really amazing dinner on the town.

I visited Ovest for the first time today. For lunch I had ordered the Trout fish with the Rucola salad. I must say both items were outstanding. The fish was fresh and lightly breaded. The salad was also fresh and perfectly dressed. Delicious. The service was outstanding as well! Thank you!

We went on a Wednesday and it was not busy which isn't usually a great sign, but WOW. The complementary bread and roasted garlic were very appreciated. The zucchini fritters and burrata apps were DELISH. I had the mushroom ravioli and the portions were very generous. Tasted great but you definitely need to love mushrooms. A friend got the pizza and it was a large portion as well. We'll be back.

Service was great and we were a party of about 15. Food was average. Didn't see the value compared to the price.

Went here for my son's birthday (the pasta lover in the family). They have a wide variety of items that are not pasta which was great for us parents and the food was delicious! Staff was super friendly and food came out quickly even though the restaurant was super busy with lots of large tables. Would recommend!

I came here for a friend's birthday with a large group (~15 people). The appetizers came out promptly but the drinks took an eternity to arrive. The staff looked overwhelmed with the large group and acted accordingly. With communally split appetizers, mains and a couple drinks, this turned out to be a $100 dinner. I can think of at least a dozen places where I would rather pay $100 for dinner at.

The best Italian in the downtown area! The interior is beautiful and the food is always outstanding. I've hosted numerous events here as well as had many smaller family and business dinners here and regardless of the occasion everyone is always left so impressed with the amazing food.

Had pasta corbanara. Way too salty. Couldn't finish half of it. Not sure about other dishes, but my experience was rather bad.

The kitchen is in the dining area so I am not sure how many of you enjoy that but was not my favourite as it got very hot where I was sitting. Food was good, they do a great job in hosting large parties especially with the app options. You can get several apps sent to your table for 20 bucks a head. There is a LOT of food that comes with this. Overall, good food, good staff.

The ambience and place is very nice- as well as the service. Food is a bit overpriced for what it is.

Ambiance was nice. Menu was very limiting for anyone interested in a gluten free pasta option - there was only one option and flavour and the flavour of it was ok.

Came here for my birthday on a Saturday. The food was amazing, my whole party of 10 enjoyed themselves and loved the food. The service was great, very friendly and hospitable. The decor was very elegant. Overall great experience and would defiantly come back.

Food was okay but not particularly noteworthy. Service was alright though noticeably harried even while the place was fairly empty. I can't imagine they'd cope well with a full house but I could be wrong.
